This is the unboxing and my first impressions of a Harley Benton DC or Double cut DIY guitar kit bought from www.thomann.de.

This is a Gibson SG style guitar kit, however Harley Benton call it a DC guitar kit which stands for double cut, they call the Les Paul style kit an SC or Single Cut DIY guitar kit. The fact that it is a kit means it is an unfinished guitar that has all the parts to put together to create a complete electric guitar. The kit is complete, with all the parts you need and ready to go, however the wood for the body is bare and unfinished. Because the body is bare and unfinished you can choose how to finish the guitar off, you can decide what lacquer or paint you would like to apply to the body of the guitar.
