Further reviewing / playing with the Lenovo T470s I found bass lacking quite a bit while listening to some hires FLAC files. So with some soldering iron and digital scope at hand I went ahead and took a look at the actual signal coming out of it, and the Surface Pro 3, and a TEAC HA-P50. Update: I just realized the Surface 3 Pro can have power-line hum on the headphone output! :-/
