One of the first things I thought about when buying the new iMac was whether or not I’d need a new capture card for my gaming footage, and short answer is “no!”. The Elgato Capture HD60 works with the new iMac. In the video, I go over how to properly connect an Elgato HD60 to the iMac, which software to download, and I also perform a quick test of the gameplay capture quality (with of course, a clip from Animal Crossing: New Horizons).
